Recipe Box: Homemade Hamburger Helper
It has been a while since I have done a recipe idea for you guys. So I have one for you. It is the Homemade Hamburger Helper Recipe. The idea came from sometimes I get tired of having everyone else food. I decided to create one of my own, which was pretty good. Sometimes you have to put effort into creating something that you know, you might not be good at, I always say give it a shot, you don’t know what you are good at. When creating this, I wasn’t too sure, cause the noodles could always end up being too moist, where they could fall apart, we all had that happen once or twice. Let me tell you how to recreate this Homemade Hamburger Helper.
Ingredients:
Serves 4 - 8 / Prep Time: 30 Minutes
Noodles:
4 Cups of Elbow Noodles
Hamburger
1lb of Hamburger Cooked
½ Cup of Chopped Onions
½ Cup of Chopped Green Peppers
Sauce
½ Cup of Spaghetti Sauce
Cheese
1 Cup of Cheddar Cheese
Directions
Bring the pan to a boil with a tablespoon of oil (so the noodles don’t get stuck to the bottom of the pan)
Put the 4 cups of Noodles in the boiling water.
Let boil for 10 minutes, until the noodles get soft. No more than 10 minutes. Drain the noodles.
Put the Hamburger into the flying pan with ½ cup of Onions and green peppers with a pinch of salt and pepper. Drain the hamburger of grease.
Heat up the sauce in a pan.
After everything is done, Mix everything together and sprinkle the cheese and mixed and let it cook and heat up for an extra 5 minutes after that, you are all done. Enjoyed.
Freeze or fridge any leftovers.
