Alexis Marie: My Perfume Journey!

I have never been the kind that would follow other girls, when it comes to perfume I have always been different. I never like having to smell like anyone else. So I always wore the same scent as my mom. She always either wore Windsong, Taboo, or Charlie perfume. Those were hers. When I got to high school all that changed. I was able to find my own scent, which was a no-brainer.

Teen Years

When I came to find my scent, it was research for me, which I love doing don’t get me wrong. I had to try all the scents to figure out which one is going to be mine. All the girls wore old spice and some other ones, but I wore up and down that I was not going to follow them and I made that promise to myself. Then when I started my junior year, I find my scent which was a hard thing to always get, it was rose. Which I totally love. But some people say it smelt like an old lady, but I didn’t think that it did or the fact that I didn’t care. Then during my Senior year, I change my perfume again which was more subtle for me, I change it to Musk and then I change it to Japanese Cherry Blossom and my perfume stay that way.

In my 20’s

My perfume stays the same, then I found my love my Sexy Fantasy Musk this scent became my all-time favorite, I have used it for a few years, then all of a sudden, I could not find it, which was a bummer then I had to find a new scent, which I did, but I didn’t like it very much, because there one thing about me, if it doesn’t speak to me, then there is no love for it. So I had some hard times trying to find the most perfect scent for me. Sometimes I think it was better that way. During my late 20’s, I started to find love for Japanese Cherry blossoms. At first, I didn’t care for it, but then I think they change an ingredient in it or something. It became my all-time favorite.

In my 30s

Well, nothing has changed except for my personality. Japanese Cherry Blossoms will always be my all-time favorites. But I did cheat on Japanese Cherry Blossoms for a while because the stores were out, then I found some other ones, which also became my favorite, Which was Lilac. Basically, my fragrances stay pretty much the same. There was never no change, maybe like a couple of times but I always went back to what I knew already. There one thing about me, is that I don’t like to have the same scent as everyone else.
